Technical Account Manager

We are looking for a Technical Account Manager to focus on business relationships and help our clients maintain alignment between technology and business.  The ideal candidate should be a tech-savvy professional who thrives in a fast paced environment, is results driven and has a high degree of customer service. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Assist customers with the specification and acquisition of hardware and software
  • Manage and document vendor relationships on behalf of the client to ensure technology goals are met
  • Ensure familiarity with client line of business applications and support plans
  • Ensure documentation and understanding of iVenture client 3rd party support contracts
  • Acquisition of additional pre-existing software and hardware
  • Assist clients with tracking and renewal of software subscriptions/licensing, hardware warranties and other recurring services
  • Deep understanding of software licensing usage and application (SPLA, CSP, Volume License, Etc.)
  • Assist clients with new office setup and assist with technical aspects of the design
  • Welcome and train new clients and new client points of contact
  • Owns invoice review and billing end-to-end to ensure accuracy and efficient resolution to any questions
  • Acts as backup for Technology Analyst
  • Maintain assigned clients company and contact details in ConnectWise
  • Work with team to prepare necessary documentation and complete research for client meetings
  • Knowledge of hardware specifications and their uses as it applies to your clients
  • Ability to identify interconnected systems in the client environment and their relationships
  • Requires and in-depth knowledge of iVenture approved management tools
  • Continued technical growth and advancement of IT knowledge through technical certification, iVenture Labs or other means

You're a great candidate if you have:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in management, finance or computer sciences or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of business-to-business technical account management experience, preferably with SMB (small-medium business) customers.
  • 1+ year in IT services (internet, cloud computing, hosting, managed services, software development)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of customer service
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information:

  • Valid driver’s license and insurance with reliable transportation.  This position will require frequent travel to local client sites.
